幾重ものフリルを施したリボンワーク。
繊維だけではなく、透過性の異なるガラスやアクリルを組み合わせることによって、
思いがけないマテルアルの表面効果を生み出しています。
ベースとなる層には、立体的な陰影が生まれ
その陰影を包み込むように光の層が重なり、光そのものと素材が一体化しています。
Light Couture。それは、素材と光の関係性を突き詰め、
新たな光の質と表情を提示する作品。

The ribbon work with its layers of frills & delicate veils reminiscent of haute couture is all constructed by hand. Unexpected textures are created by combining the fabric, glass & acrylic with different translucencies. The impression of nuanced depth is created in the base layer, which is then wrapped in layers of light. A work of art that represents an integrated harmony of light & materials. Light Couture, the result of an exploration of the relationship between materials & luminosity, offers a new way to experience light.
