１本のテープに動きのある表情を加えることから発想しました。フリルテープを一針一針手仕事でカップに縫い留めています。
異なる素材を組み合わせることによって、より軽やかで繊細な表情が生まれます。
ガーベラの花が咲くかのように、幾重にもフリルテープを重ね立体的に仕立てることでグレアをカットし、やわらかな光を生み出します。

Gerbelight was conceived from the idea of using cloth tape to create the appearance of movement. Frill tape is painstakingly sewn onto the cup by hand. The use of different materials helps produce a delicate, airier impression. Just like gerbera flowers in bloom, several layers of frill tape are used to create a three-dimensional form that filters out glare & produces a soft light.

夜空を切り取るかのように、ドーム型のシェードにはハンドステッチで表現された無数の星が瞬いています。
人の手で一つ一つ穴をあけ、一目一目縫うことによって生まれる柄は、シェードの形状に合わせて少しずつ大きさも形も異なります。
緻密な計算のもと描き出される光の模様は、点描画を連想させます。

Just as the night sky appears as a cut-out, this domed lampshade is embellished with numerous twinkling stars rendered through hand-stitching. Each hole is made & each stitch is sewn by hand. The patterns differ slightly in size & shape according to the form of the lampshade. Created based on an elaborate calculation, the resulting patterns of projected light are suggestive of pointillist paintings.

桜をモチーフにしたSakulight（サクライト）から、電球の交換ができる極限まで小さくしたミニサイズが登場。
花びらとなる素材は、手作業で一枚一枚裁断しています。愛らしい桜の花々には、手仕事の温もりが添えられています。

A small-sized Sakulight makes its debut in this cherry-blossom-inspired range. It is just large enough to allow for the electric bulbs to be replaced. Petal parts are cut out manually, creating adorable cherry flowers imbued with the warmth of hand-crafted work.

Sakulight（サクライト）は、Spore(スポア)と並んでブランドを象徴する照明です。
桜の花の繊細さを表現するために、木を曲げるという技術を採用しました。

Sakulight, along with Spore, comprises a signature series of the CHIHIRO TANAKA brand. To express the delicate character of the cherry blossom, a wood bending technique is employed.

春を告げる花、桜。その花言葉は、「純潔」「心の美」。
純白の桜の花々が可憐に咲き誇る姿は、まるで月夜に照らし出された桜のように、神秘的な世界を作り出します。
桜の花言葉が象徴するように、人の心を豊かにする照明です。

Spring is ushered in by the cherry blossom. In the language of flowers, cherry blossoms signify "chastity" and "spiritual beauty." Lik moonlit cherry blossoms, these beautiful blooming flowers, pure and white, imbue their surroundings with a mystical quality. As the language of flowers suggests, Sakulight fills your heart with warmth.

Design based on the image of vegetables & fruit that grow together in a cluster. Crafted using a skilled spinning technique, the shade features a refined, subtle curve & is coupled with three different finishes: brasswith a hairline finish, a lustrous pure white, & an adorable light pink.

スズナリタイプと同様のランプシェードを使用し、ホワイトブーケをイメージした照明。
ひとつの電源から複数の照明が放射状に吊り下がり、花束のようにコードを束ねている点が特徴です。
色はピュアホワイトのみ。

Using the same lampshades as the SuzunaLuce SZ type, SuzunaLuce BQ is inspired by a bouquet of white flowers. Several lamps are hung from a single power source in a radial fashion, with power cords bundled like a floral bouquet.
Available only in pure white.

Inspired by the elegant curvy shape of a sound-producing bell. Crafted using a skilled spinning technique, the shade features a refined, subtle curve & is coupled with three different finishes: brass with a hairline finish, a lustrous pure white, & an adorable light pink.

焼物特有の自然な色むらが特徴の愛らしい伝統的なタイルを使用し、ソケットカバーにランダムに一つ一つ手貼りしています。
カラーパレットは全部で24色。タイルの表面加工は艶のあるもの、ないものと2種類。

Uses attractive traditional tiles with the natural color variability that is characteristic of ceramics. Each tile is placed on the socket cover randomly by hand. Twenty-four color variations are available in a matte or glossy finish. Mosaico lineup uses carefully selected textures and colors for a playful touch. You can create your own customized piece by choosing from three types of electric bulbs and 24 tile colors.

「光に服を纏わす」という考えを感性豊かにデザインした照明器具。クチュリエのように、１枚の布から仕立て上げました。
素材には、世界最古の布とされるリネンを使用。
立体的なダイヤ柄と、グレーまたはゴールドの縁取りを施したプリーツを組み合わせました。
素材そのものの質感を残し、透過しない厚手のファブリックを使用することによって、適度な光量で、温かみのある光を生み出します。

LiNew embodies the concept of "dressing" light in a sensibility-rich way. Reminiscent of haute couture dressmaking, the lampshade is made from a piece of cloth. The material used is linen, which is believed to be the world's oldest fabric. Three-dimensional diamond patterns are paired with pleats having gray or gold hems. LiNew makes use of the unique texture of the opaquely thick fabric, producing warm light with a moderate intensity.

無垢の高透加の板ガラスそのものがランプシェードとなり、そのガラスの側面に光が回り、繊細な光を描き出します。
この美しいシェードの側面は、職人が一枚一枚磨き、なめらかにしています。
極限まで装飾を削ぎ落とすことによって、素材そのものの美しさを最大限に引き出しました。

Solid sheet glass with high permeability is used for the lampshade. Light caught along the edge of the glass shade creates a delicately artistic illumination. The edge of this beautiful lampshade is polished & smoothed by craftsmen. Keeping embellishment to a minimum allows the full beauty of the material itself to be showcased to greatest effect. SimpLuce highlights the pure, delicate character of glass.

伝統和菓子の金平糖を、日本の美意識の象徴として具現化させた照明。
球体に六角形の花を咲かせ、金平糖の特徴である角状の突起を表現。
箔や和紙、おり紙を挟んだ700にもおよぶパーツを手仕事によって留め合わせています。
床置きタイプの照明として発表したKonpeitoがペンダントとしても販売を開始いたします。

Inspired by the eponymous traditional Japanese candy, Konpeito captures the essence of the Japanese aesthetic sensibility. It is a work constructed of hexagonal petal-shaped parts attached to central sphere in a manner reminiscent of the characteristic angular bulges of konpeito candy. As many as 700 of these "petals," with either foil, Japanese paper or thin colored paper sandwiched between two pieces of transparent material, are clipped by hand onto the central sphere. Released first as a floor lamp, the Konpeito series will add pendant-type products.

空中に漂う胞子をイメージした照明。
繊細な糸と糸が空気をも紡ぎ出し、淡く閃光を包み込みます。
それは、生まれたばかりの胞子の生命力の輝きのように、優美な光を放ちます。

The illumination work is an image form of SPORES that waft in the breeze. An airy shade spun with delicate threads enfolding a flash, turning it into faint illumination. It radiates ethereal light like the life force of newborn spore.

軽量感のあるシェードとその有機的な形は、まるで空中に漂う胞子。
ファブリックを使用したSporeは、まさにCHIHIRO TANAKAを象徴する照明です。
光と素材の関係を改めて見直し、より小さい光源を採用しました。
シェードを取り外し、シンプルな照明器具のみで使用することも。１つの照明で異なる2つの表情を提供します。

An airy-looking lampshade with an organic form that resembles a spore floating in the air. Made with fabric, Spore is an iconic symbol of the CHIHIRO TANAKA range of lighting products. After reviewing the interaction between the light and materials, a smaller light source has been employed for this series. A versatile two-in-one item, Spore New can also be used without a shade as a simple lighting fixture.

天空に揺らめくオーロラや壮麗な山の姿など、自然界に存在する「ヒダ」がインスピレーションの源。
ひとつひとつのパーツが交互に重なり合い、規則的な波線を描き出し、美しい光と陰影が浮かび上がります。

Inspired by various "creases" that exist in nature, like shimmering aurora and sublime mountain folds. Each fold overlaps the next in a regular array of waves, with light and shadow flowing from between to create a magical atmosphere. A light fitting with a "constructed" look.

The ribbon work with its layers of frills & delicate veils reminiscent of haute couture is all constructed by hand. Unexpected textures are created by combining the fabric, glass & acrylic with different translucencies. The impression of nuanced depth is created in the base layer, which is then wrapped in layers of light. A work of art that represents an integrated harmony of light & materials. Light Couture, the result of an exploration of the relationship between materials & luminosity, offers a new way to experience light.
